Temuka Bee Smart Beekeeping Field Day

3 Site Visits covering: Splitting beehives, Swarm prevention, AFB Disease check .

Temuka 9am – 12pm Saturday 31 October 2020.
Rae will demonstrate splitting and balancing out 2 beehives, how to introduce new queens, best beekeeping practise, checking progress on a new nucleus hive and AFB disease checks for a team members 5 beehives.

1st Venue 9am: Anderson Residence 41 Ormsby St Temuka.

On registering for the Temuka Field Day an email will be sent with more details.

Become a TEAM MEMBER:

There is no joining fee to become a Bee Smart Beekeeping Team Member. Members can nominate their beehives for a site visit on a field day or just attend the field days. Rae will assist and give advice with any beehive management required at the time. By registering, Rae can coordinate field days in the same areas. When registering, please state if you would like your hives checked and what area they are sited in.
