Rae will demonstrate how to count varroa mites and what the results mean, talk about varroa treatments and best beekeeping practise wintering beehives plus an AFB disease check for a team members 12 beehives.

Parking: past house and in yard

$30.00  - registered attendees
$40.00 - turn up on the day

Become a TEAM MEMBER:

There is no joining fee to become a Bee Smart Beekeeping Team Member. Members can nominate their beehives for a site visit on a field day or just attend the field days. Rae will assist and give advice with any beehive management required at the time. By registering, Rae can coordinate field days in the same areas. When registering, please state if you would like your hives checked and what area they are sited in.
